Boasso Update
Bozo Boasso put one more nail in his political coffin by switching parties today. He also announced that he will end the tariff on Zatarains and that when he brings back Jax beer, the cans will not have a pop top, but need a church key. Also he stated that he will have a full fledged investigation on price fixing of Mardi Gras throws.

Louisiana Justice-Celebrity Gets Off the Hook

A swooning judge slapped Willie Nelson on the wrist, and gave him the least possible fine he could for possesion of marijuana that would have had most of us doing hard time. Instead of prosecuting, the prosecutor made excuses for Nelson. After the trial celebrity crazed locals congradulated him and got autographs at the court house.
Once again Louisiana ends up looking like complete idiots. Nelson has shot the bird at law enforcement for years with his public pot addiction. But everyone from the arresting officers to the DA to the judge has taught the children of Louisiana a really good lesson-Go Do Drugs. There should be malfeasence charges against all parties involved.

Why is this even news

Walter Boasso, who is running last in the polls, and who's platform includes more seafood boils, deregulation of Mardi Gras truck parades, and bringing back Jax beer is now thinking of becoming a democrat. They can have him. This bozo never stood a chance, the only good thing is by being defeated in the governor's race he won't be elected to anything else this year.
When will we learn that clowns like this are one more thing that gives Louisiana it's negative image.

Village People try to Indimidate St. Landry D.A.

Houston trouble maker Quanell X took his hate show on the road this week to try to intemidate St. Landry Parish District Attorney Earl Taylor. As backup, he brought along one of the Village People.
That anyone would take Quanell the 10th seriously is a question we cannot answer, but in Houston local officals regularly roll over, fetch, shake, beg, and do whatever he tells them to. The fact that he brought along this clown to indimidate officials of the court is illegal and he and the buffoon should both be guests of Sheriff Guidroz.
Tenth may be hitting the road because in Houston he no longer represents the minority of choice and may be looking for greener pastures.
We don't know where they stayed when visiting Opelousas, but "It's fun to stay at the YMCA..."

A Sad Goodbye

We sadly say goodbye to David Thibodeaux of the Lafayette Parish School Board who was killed in an accident this weekend. David was one of the few voices of common sense among Louisiana politicians. He always put the welfare and good of the children first before politics.
We have lost a good friend, the children of Lafayette Parish have lost a strong advocate.

EBR School Update
A 14 year old EBR student claims she was sexually assaulted on a school bus and has filed a suit against the school board. EBR school superintendent Shirley Q. Placide was unavailable for comment. A school board spokesman stated that she and her best friend Watusi Jenkins were at that Vietnamese place getting some new nails put on.

Ground Zero-Baton Rouge Schools
Baton Rouge's schools have become so dangerous that teachers and ligitimate students are afraid to go to class. Unfortunately the administration seems not to give a damn as usual.
BR Superintendent Shirley Q. Placide says, "What, me worry? I deny the alligations and the alligator. Com'on Watusi, there is a sale at Cortana."

What Did Baton Rouge Media Know and When Did They Know It
The Baton Rouge media has been behind the curve with their reporting of the Pokey Chatman scandal. Unfortunately for the BR media, people in Baton Rouge aren't stuck with one paper, two real news channels, and a few radio stations that are subservient to LSU, the internet gives us worldwide media access. So local media, trying to fake some credibility, has reported behind everyone else.
Baton Rouge's TV news has become a joke, partially because of their rabid defense of every criminal that goes on trial in the area. The Advocate has all the belivability of Pravda. WJBO has become lap dogs to the Holden Administration. Now all of BR media shows that when it wants to, LSU pulls their strings.

Once Again, Kathleen Disses Dubbya
Governor Blanco took another opportunity to insult the President, this time by not attending the State Dinner for Governors. She continues to act like a spoiled member of moveon.org, letting her hate for the President blind her to the needs of her state.
Her behavior towards the President shows a lack of maturity and judgement and just how out of touch she is with the people of Louisiana. She can't move back to Lafayette too soon.

Judge Clears Most Corrupt Politician in Louisiana
Judge Don Johnson, who only appearant qualification was he was in that stupid show with Phillip Michael Thomas, dismissed all charges against Louisiana Secretary of Corruption Bob Odom. Johnson has managed to make Judge Larry Siedlin look competent and look for a new sugar mill to be constructed in the Baton Rouge area soon.

Superintendent of Education
Cecil Picard, Louisiana Superintendent of Education died this week. He brought many new innovations to Louisiana schools, school buses were replaced by transporters, school nurses were issued tricorders, Klingon language classes became manditory, and the kids cell phones were replaced by communicator pins.
Oh, wait a minute, that was Jean Luc Picard. Cecil Picard presided over the worse school sytem in America. Sorry.

HELL FREEZES OVER
Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I would agree with Congresswoman Maxine Waters (Marxist-California). Congresswoman Waters has called for congressional oversight on the Road Home Program. She also called the Road Home Program "a joke".
I have been very disappointed that Bobby Jindal has been silent on the program. I have noticed that the governor no longer calls it "Kathleen Blanco's Road Home Program", but ultimately she will have to answer for the incompetence and corruption. Terminating the contract with ICF would be a good start.
